Adam Katz

Adam Katz is the Founder and CEO of Kooltra, a financial technology company that helps banks, credit unions, and payment businesses run foreign exchange and cross-border payments in-house.

Before founding Kooltra, Adam was Global Head of Systems Architecture & FX Trading Operations at Velocity Trade, where he saw how much of the FX workflow still ran on manual processes and disconnected systems. When he couldn't find a vendor that fixed it, he built his own back-office platform, then left to turn it into Kooltra.

Today Kooltra's cloud platform covers the full FX and global payments workflow, from trade execution and risk management to compliance and settlement.
